Lebanon on Monday registered 10 coronavirus-related deaths and 1,016 new infections on the third day of full lockdown.
In its daily report, Ministry of Public Health said 1,006 new infections were recorded among local residents, while the other 10 cases were imported, raising the total infections nationwide since February to 106,446.
5,216 PCR tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, including 898 at Beirut International Airport, according to the report.
10 new fatalities were registered over the past 24 hours, raising the nationwide death toll to 827, the ministry added.
847 coronavirus patients have been hospitalized in the last 24 hours, including 316 at the ICU rooms, the report added, noting that the number of recoveries reached 61413.
Lebanon has been since Saturday (November 14) witnessing a two-week full lockdown over surge in coronavirus cases, with caretaker Health Minister Hamad Hasan stressing that the confinement measures aim at raising the readiness of the hospitals across the country in a bid to battle the viral respiratory disease.
