The Iranian foreign minister, Hussein Amir Abdollahian, stressed that the Islamic Republic is ready to provide Lebanon with all kinds of aid to Lebanon despite the hard economic conditions that Iran is experiencing.
In an interview with Al-Manar Channel, Abdollahian indicated that the Lebanese government itself must officially ask Tehran to ask for the aid, emphasizing that Iran respects Lebanon’s sovereignty.
Abdollahian indicated that Iran support Lebanon’s Resistance to preserve the Lebanese security and sovereignty, underscoring that this support will continue.
The Iranian top diplomat pointed out that his recent meeting with Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, adding that Iran refers to his eminence’s viewpoints while approaching the regional issues.
“Sayyed Nasrallah is the greatest political leader in Lebanon and the region,” Abdollahian said.
It is worth noting that the interview was held in Lebanon during the Iranian foreign minister’s visit to Lebanon. Abdollahian met during his two-day stay with Hezbollah Secretary General and the senior officials.
