Defense ministers of Iran, Russia and Turkey will hold a meeting in Moscow on Tuesday to discuss the latest developments in Syria, particularly the situation in Aleppo.
IRNA news agency said the decision for holding the trilateral meeting was made following a telephone conversation on Sunday between the Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier-General Hossein Dehqan and his Russian counterpart Sergey Shoigu.
The two DMs explored during Sunday call the latest developments in Syria and liberation of Aleppo from the hands of terrorist groups, IRNA reported.
Underlining the necessity to immediately lift the siege on Foua and Kefraya besieged towns, the two ministers stressed that fighting Takfiri terrorist groups in Syria has to go on until restoring full security in the country.
The two sides also reiterated that Tehran and Moscow have to continue with their consultations on the ongoing situation on the battlefields in Syria.
