The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Friday that terrorist organizations deployed in the so-called de-escalation zone of Idlib are preparing to stage a chemical attack in Idlib in cooperation with representatives of the “White Helmets” terrorist organization and mercenary media outlets to accuse the Syrian Arab Army of the act.

Deputy commander of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim, Naval Captain Vadim Kolet of the Russian Ministry of Defense, told reporters that the terrorists are preparing to imitate a chemical attack in the de-escalation zone of Idlib and that they are likely planning to do so on the day that sets for the president to take the constitutional oath.

The Russian military officer indicated that the terrorists are planning to implement their plans in the vicinity of the towns of Saraqeb and Khan Sheikhoun, with the participation of the White Helmets organization and the local media, to film the drama in order to accuse the Syrian government forces of using toxic materials against civilians.
