Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, on Thursday held its regular meeting, chaired by MP Mohammad Raad, reviewing the latest developments.

In a statement issued after the meeting, the bloc stressed that the deliberate raise of the national pound’s exchange rate against the US dollar is aimed at imposing certain political choices on the Lebanese people, holding the government and the Central Bank responsible for coping with the crisis.

The bloc affirmed that the resistance people in Lebanon will prevent the foreign plots and pressures from achieving their targets,  highlighting the attempts to blackmail the Lebanese people in this regard.

Loyalty to Resistance Bloc also underscored its satisfaction with the contacts and meetings of Hezbollah delegations with the two commands of the Free Patriotic Movement and Progressive Socialist Party in order to address the country’s crises.

The bloc also stressed that the national dialogue is the shortest way to carry out the presidential elections, asserting the importance of Lebanon’s unity and civil peace.
