Israeli occupation forces are facing a dire situation in Gaza, with casualties continuing to mount. A high-ranking officer from the 82nd Battalion of the 7th Sa’ar Golani Brigade was critically wounded in a fierce battle in northern Gaza, the IOF announced on Monday.
This news comes after the admission on Sunday that the commander of Battalion 52, a colonel, was injured in a confrontation in southern Gaza. Tragically, an engineering unit officer from Battalion 601 was killed in engagements in the same region.
The total number of Israeli military casualties has reached 680 officers and soldiers since October 7, 2023, with approximately 4,097 others wounded to varying degrees. Israeli media reports, permitted for publication, have shed light on the extent of the losses.
