On the other hand, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned that if missiles continue to be fired at the Zionist entity, “Tehran will burn.”
He addressed Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei by saying: “If Khamenei continues to fire missiles at the Israeli home front, Tehran will burn.”
For his part, Israeli occupation military Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin said some 40 sites across Iran were targeted, including air defense systems and related assets.
Meanwhile, Iran’s civil aviation authority declared that the Islamic Republic’s airspace was closed “until further notice.”
Similar measure was taken by the Israeli occupation authorities, as Ben Gurion Airport spokeswoman said that the facility was also closed until further notice, according to AFP news agency.
Tensions have been high in the region in the last hours, as the Israeli occupation carried out deadly attacks on several sites in Iran, killing senior military Iranian commanders and high number of civilians.
The attack prompted the Islamic Republic to harshly retaliate with the the Iranian missiles lighting up the skies above occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem), Tel Aviv and many other areas across the Zionist entity, causing dozens of casualties and severe damage.
