Iran’s top military commander warned that any renewed Israeli aggression would trigger a punishing response capable of paralyzing the Zionist regime, adding that even Washington would be powerless to shield the regime’s prime minister from the consequences.
Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi said in Tehran on Friday that the Islamic Republic had prepared a decisive retaliation in line with the directive of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
The commander said the plan was ready but circumstances had not yet required its full implementation.
“If they attack Iran again, they will see what we are capable of doing,” Mousavi warned, as quoted by Tasnim news agency.
“In that case, even the United States may not be able to save (Israeli prime minister Benjamin) Netanyahu.”

The recent confrontation began on June 13, when the Zionist regime, heavily backed by the US, launched a 12-day war against Iran.
In a swift retaliatory counteroffensive, Iran carried out precise missile and drone strikes as part of Operation True Promise III.
Hundreds of ballistic missiles, including hypersonic and multi-warhead variants, targeted military, nuclear, and industrial centers across occupied Palestine.
The Iranian response struck Tel Aviv’s economic heart, Haifa’s strategic port, and Be’er Sheva’s industrial core.

Mousavi described Iran’s campaign as beginning with a forceful deterrent stage and followed by targeted punitive operations.
He congratulated the Iranian people on their steadfastness, saying, “The noble people of Iran stood strong with unity and cohesion, forcing the enemy to bow before them.”
He emphasized that both the nation and armed forces remain vigilant and ready to crush any further aggression.
The Islamic Republic’s adversaries should know that the Iranian nation did not achieve its dignity and independence easily, and “will not rest until it puts the child-killing terrorists in their place,” Mousavi stated.
The top Iranian military commander further underlined the armed forces’ dedication to defending the nation, saying, “Rest assured, we will keep the flag of our dear martyrs’ dignity and honor flying high, until our last drop of blood.”
