The Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas stressed Friday that the US opted not to lead an honest mediation in the ‘peace process’, emphasizing that Palestine will seek a full UN membership.

After a meeting with the members of the Palestinian membership, Abbas said that worldwide protests rejected US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of the Zionist entity, adding that the Palestinian authorities will take the necessary political and diplomatic measures to confront the US move.

Abbas also pointed out that Palestine is going to seek a full UN membership, adding that he signed requests of membership in 22 international organizations.
