More than 6 months ago, former Saudi Intelligence Minister “Turki al-Faisal” blamed the US President Barack Obama as he wrote asking him the following: “Have you deviated towards the Iranian leadership so that your kingdom’s 80-years old friendship with the US became equal to that of the Iranian leadership that keeps referring to America as the greatest enemy and Satan?…”
80 years have passed over the Saudi Kingdom’s coalition with the American administration before the Saudis “discovered” last night the crimes and terrorism of the “greatest Satan”. But how did the Saudis discover that?
JASTA has the answer.
Wednesday evening, the US Congress rejected Obama’s veto against the JASTA bill (Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act) that allows the families of the 9/11 victims to sue countries to which the attackers belong, which means it allows suing Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir’s former threats to withdraw some $750 bln from the US in case of activating the law didn’t bear the desired fruit. Saudis hence couldn’t but uncover the friendly administration by digging into crimes the kingdom has calmed down since 80 years.
Suddenly, twitter users in the Saudi kingdom, whose princes had abused the Iranian description of the US as the greatest Satan, woke up for the US crimes. They crowded to uncover the “greatest Satan” through interacting with hashtag #jasta_world_sues_america, which also meant the ally of the devil, Saudi Arabia itself.
A Saudi man published a video report on the nuclear attack against Hiroshima, commenting on his post: “The worst crime in the human history, the American nuclear attack against #Hiroshima.”
Another Saudi twitter user @DRabusaad saw that the US “have killed millions of Japanese people in the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs, and thousands died in Vietnam, as well as more than 1 million Afghans and 1 million Iraqis.”
“The US is the bloodiest country that killed innocent people, this law will open the Saudi doors to hell,” according to @SaeedAlNaji from Riyadh.
For his part, Houssam Slaihem @Slaihem posted several tweets in which he listed the crimes committed by the US administration in Vietnam, the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Yugoslavia and Somalia.
“70 years of Saudi loyalty, what about the coming years?” @slum30 tweeted.
Along 80 years, according to al-Faisal, Saudi Arabia has been very loyal to its alliance with the Satan. During those years, the United States committed its flagrant crime in the nuclear attack it conducted against Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Under a Saudi consent, the US forces entered Afghanistan in 2001 under the title of “fighting terrorism”. The result of this open war was the killing of some 150 thousand Afghans according to Afghani official records. However, the Saudi Kingdom’s rulers had no problem with such crimes that targeted civilians in the first place.
As the US administration announced the beginning of its invasion of Iraq, the Saudi airspace became open to the American warplanes that were throwing its smart bombs on the civilian Iraqi houses. According to Wikileaks, this war has left 109 thousand victims; however, “The Lancet”, a British magazine, noted in 2006 that the war had left 655 thousand Iraqis dead!
The Satan’s crimes, for which the Saudis suddenly woke up, were committed amid the climax of the kingdom’s alliance with this devil. The blood the Saudis are demanding to sue the US for was also shed by their kingdom. When the Arab streets were full of protesters opposing the American invasion of Iraq, and “Down with America” slogans, those slogans and protests were considered as crimes within the Saudi kingdom, which pretends crying on the US crimes’ victims.
In front of what now seems to be an American-Saudi divorce, we cannot but refer to the Egyptian author Mostafa Said who described it as follows: “The US is just like a female spider (the black widow) which kills the male and eats it after its role diminishes.” Did the Americans confirm that the Saudi role is over? A question that’s hard to be answered today.
Back to the Saudi army of Twitter users, Saudi writer and former Chief of al-Arabiya Channel Abdul Rahman Al-Rashed retweeted the following: “The US Congress today targets the President’s veto of the JASTA law. The rule would be applied with 2/3rd of the votes. May it pass safely.” In parallel, the CNN website was publishing the Republican US Senator Peter King’s speech in which he wondered: “If Saudi Arabia is not involved in September 11 attacks, so why it is worried?
