Member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance at Lebanese Parliament MP Hussein Jishi said recent developments proved that the US-Israeli project in the region have been thwarted, arguing that ‘Israel’ had failed to achieve its stated war objectives.
Speaking at a memorial service on Tuesday, Jishi said ‘Israel’ had been unable to resolve issues related to Iran’s nuclear program, curb its missile capabilities, or limit its regional influence, adding that negotiations on these اissues remain ongoing.
He also addressed the assassination of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, saying historic turnout at funeral ceremonies reflected continued popular support and the enduring influence of his legacy.

On the situation in southern Lebanon, MP Jishi accused the Israeli enemy of attempting to circumvent ceasefire understandings through ongoing violations and its occupation of areas in the southern Lebanese territory.

He said Hezbollah would not provide any pretext that could undermine existing ceasefire agreements, while warning that “patience has limits” and that the Lebanese resistance group reserves the right to respond at a time and manner it deems appropriate.
The Hezbollah lawmaker also criticized Lebanese authorities over the so-called “framework agreement” with the Israeli enemy, questioning the rationale behind entering direct negotiations following a ceasefire arrangement that already stipulated a full Israeli withdrawal.
He argued that the “framework agreement” had failed to secure gains for Lebanon and instead provided ‘Israel’ with grounds to maintain its occupation and continue operations in certain areas, while preventing and hindering the return of displaced residents.
Calling for a shift in the approach of the Lebanese authorities, MP Jishi urged a return to indirect negotiations, saying previous rounds mediated by the Lebanese state had yielded results in past conflicts. He warned that internal divisions risk undermining national unity and called on political leaders to reconsider current policies.
MP Jishi further stressed the legitimacy of resistance under occupation, urging Lebanese authorities to reverse measures targeting it and to prioritize unity in confronting external threats and addressing domestic challenges.
