IRGC Navy Intercepts 4 Vessels Violating Strait of Hormuz Navigation Rules

The Naval Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued statement which mentioned, “A few hours ago, four violating vessels, encouraged by provocative acts and with the support of the American terrorists, turned off their navigation systems and ignored the warnings of the Naval Force’s Strait of Hormuz Monitoring Base. They attempted to disrupt maritime traffic and exit the Strait of Hormuz via an unsafe route.”

“Two of these vessels were subject to an incident [interception/strike] and stopped in their positions, while the other two vessels refrained from continuing to sail on that route,” the statement added.

The statement affirmed, “Full control of the Strait of Hormuz lies with this force. The only safe passage for transit is the designated and announced route. And as previously announced, not a single drop of oil, gas, or chemical fertilizer will pass through the Strait of Hormuz without coordination and obtaining permission.”

Vessels that are influenced by statements from the American enemy and enter the unsafe route will inevitably be subject to accidents, the statement concluded.
