Gaza Toll Mounts: 3 Martyred, 22 Wounded in 24 Hours as Rescue Teams Unable to Reach Trapped Victims

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported Monday that three Palestinians were martyred and 22 others wounded across the enclave over the past 24 hours, as Israeli occupation forces continued their military operations despite an active ceasefire agreement.

In its daily casualty update, the ministry confirmed that a significant number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings and lie in the streets, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them due to ongoing military activity and obstructed access routes.

Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, the ministry has recorded a total of 1,158 Palestinian fatalities and 3,756 injuries, while rescue teams have managed to recover 802 bodies from the ruins during that period.

Cumulative figures since the outbreak of the conflict on October 7, 2023, now stand at 73,283 Palestinians killed and 173,864 wounded across the Gaza Strip, according to the health ministry’s latest statistics.

The Israeli occupation military, now on the 284th day of what the ministry describes as ongoing ceasefire violations, continues to strike multiple areas of Gaza, including makeshift tents sheltering displaced families. Simultaneously, extensive demolition operations targeting residential blocks have been carried out, compounding the already dire humanitarian conditions in the territory.
