Commenting on the recent statements by the so-called Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Raji, Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Lebanese Parliament, MP Dr. Ibrahim al-Mousawi, made the following statement:
“It is completely clear to everyone that there is no Foreign Minister for Lebanon, but rather a militia delegate whose sole concern is sabotaging Lebanese unity. He is in a state of total and complete resignation from his basic duties. He has not submitted any complaint against Lebanon’s enemies, nor has he represented its interests or expressed its basic concerns and problems. Instead, he constantly preoccupies himself with justifying the Israeli enemy.
One whose main experience was killing at checkpoints in a militia that collaborated with the occupation does not have the qualification to describe the position of the national party. He needs a lot to prove his patriotism, especially since he is engaged in inciting strife and confrontation between the army and the resistant people of Lebanon.”
