Ten Palestinians, including four children, were injured during a raid by Israeli settlers and occupation army forces targeting the Junaid neighborhood west of Nablus, the Palestinian Red Crescent said on Friday, as renewed clashes erupted in the area.
Dozens of settlers, escorted by Israeli military forces, stormed several areas west of Nablus and the nearby town of Tell, southwest of the city, according to Palestinian security and local sources.
The sources said settlers entered the Ain Al-Mazrab area in Tell, as well as the Al-Amiriya area and its surroundings, amid a heavy deployment of Israeli occupation forces (IOF).

Israeli forces also carried out widespread raids across the West Bank overnight and into Friday, searching homes and businesses and arresting a number of Palestinians. In Tell, troops raided several homes, converting one into a military post, while additional operations were reported in the towns of Sarra and Awarta and the Al-Masaken Al-Sha’biya neighborhood east of Nablus.
The escalation comes after a previous attack in Tell, where four Palestinians were martyred and two Israeli soldiers were killed during an assault carried out by settlers under army protection.
The latest developments also forced the cancellation of Tell’s fig festival, as residents were unable to access agricultural lands due to the Israeli military presence and land bulldozing operations.
Tell village council head Walid Zeidan said residents mobilized to defend their homes following last week’s attack, warning of repeated settler violence.
“Just days ago, settlers tried to burn down the house of citizen Suhaib Ramadan, and the family escaped after leaving only minutes before the house was completely engulfed in flames,” Zeidan told Anadolu Agency.
“When the latest attack began, people went out to defend their homes so that the tragedy would not be repeated.”
Zeidan added that Israeli bulldozers had begun leveling an estimated 2,000 dunams of agricultural land, while local authorities were prevented from accessing the area to assess the damage.
According to Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Israeli settlers carried out 3,488 attacks against Palestinians and their properties during the first half of 2026, including assaults, arson attacks, land bulldozing, restrictions on farmers’ access to fields, and the establishment of new settlement outposts.
The United Nations considers Israeli settlements built in the occupied Palestinian territories illegal under international law, while Palestinian officials warn that continued settlement expansion threatens the prospects for establishing an independent Palestinian state.
