Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held a phone call with the Politburo Chief of Hamas Resistance Movement Khalil Al-Hayya, congratulating him on his election.
Pezeshkian told Hamas leader that Tehran continues with its unwavering support for the Palestinian people, stating: “We stand with you and support you in all the measures you take, despite the aggression we are facing.”
In turn, Al-Hayya thanked the Iranian president on Tehran’s support, wishing an imminent halt of the aggression.
Meanwhile, Hamas sources reported that the Movement told the mediators that the continuation of the Israeli attacks hinders the talks and the implementation of Gaza agreement.
