Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched extensive raids across multiple areas of the occupied West Bank early Thursday, while Israeli settlers simultaneously attacked Palestinian communities in the southern Hebron hills, torching homes in the Masafer Yatta area. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that 11 Palestinians sustained injuries during an IOF incursion into the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem. Soldiers assaulted several residents during the raid, including Mohammad Jamal Ammar, who was beaten before being released. Red Crescent crews transported eight of the injured to hospital and evacuated five additional patients from the camp, despite what sources described as persistent Israeli obstruction of ambulance and rescue teams.
Local Palestinian sources added that occupation forces raided the Airport Road near the camp, fired tear gas, detained two Palestinians, and impeded the work of journalists covering the raid.

Confrontations Spread to Nablus and Hebron Districts
In parallel developments, confrontations erupted in the village of Awarta, southeast of Nablus, where one young man was wounded by live Israeli fire and another was beaten by soldiers. In eastern Beit Furik, occupation troops beat residents before storming the town and raiding both a home and a commercial property.
South of Hebron, settlers attacked Palestinian homes in Khirbet al-Tuba, located in the Masafer Yatta region, setting several houses ablaze. The Red Crescent confirmed that five Palestinians, including women and children, sustained injuries in the arson attack. Separately, in the al-Qarna area of Turmus Ayya, near Ramallah, local youths confronted settlers who were assaulting nearby Palestinian residences.
Incursions Continue in Jenin and Tulkarm
In the northern West Bank, occupation forces stormed the village of Sir, east of Jenin, raided a home in al-Mutilla, and infiltrated Jenin’s al-Zahraa neighborhood, where they assaulted a young man. In Tulkarm, an Israeli military vehicle collided with a Palestinian car on Pharaoh Street, south of the city. Meanwhile, troops raided the Wadi al-Sheikh area near al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, and the town of al-Issawiya in occupied Jerusalem.
Wednesday’s Large-Scale Operation in Qalandia and Kafr Aqab
Thursday’s violence follows a major military operation launched by Israeli forces on Wednesday in the Qalandia refugee camp and the adjacent town of Kafr Aqab, north of occupied Jerusalem. The operation commenced with a special forces incursion, soon reinforced by heavy military assets, including a bulldozer. Troops raided dozens of homes in the al-Matar and al-Kasarat neighborhoods, forcing multiple families to leave their residences amid extensive searches and property damage.
A separate detention campaign in Kafr Aqab targeted dozens of Palestinians, with forces reportedly preventing residents from performing Fajr prayers. Israeli troops also sent threatening messages to residents’ phones and used loudspeakers to order evacuations. During the operation, a military vehicle ran over a young Palestinian man near the camp.
The broader escalation comes on the orders of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz, following a July confrontation near the village of al-Tell, close to Jenin, which resulted in the killing and wounding of Israelis.
