The Islamic Resistance in Iraq issued on Monday a statement to announce the postponement of the response to the aggression conducted by the United States and its allies.
In response to the call of Al-Hajj Al-Mujahid (Abu Hassan Al-Amiri), and in alignment with the honorable stances of some of the noble political leaders, it has been decided to postpone the response that was scheduled for today, the 23rd of the blessed month of Safar.
And while we affirm that the pure blood of the martyrs was never and will never be a commodity in the market of political bargaining, we call upon those whom the chair has blinded from protecting blood and violated sovereignty to reconsider themselves and return to their senses.
And let the American enemy and its allies in the region know that the blood of our martyrs and our wounded is the fuel of our steadfastness, and that sovereignty will not be regained through timid statements, but rather by the fists of the loyal ones who do not bargain over the sanctity of the land or the dignity of the martyrs.
