Israeli Occupation Proceeds Attacks, Ground Incursions in Southern Lebanon

Destruction after Israeli occuaption forces carried out demolition operation in the southern Lebanese town of Hadatha (August 9, 2026).

Israeli occupation forces continued attacks across southern Lebanon, carrying out artillery shelling, a drone strike, demolitions, and ground incursions in several areas.

Israeli artillery shelled Al-Mansouri, Mays al-Jabal, Al-Qantara, and areas around Kfar Remman, as well as Al-Slouqi valley and hills of Al-Dabsha, Ali Al-Taher Heights, Al-Manar correspondents in southern Lebanon reported.

In parallel, an Israeli drons struck the outskirts of Mayfadoun, while a light attack drone  dropped explosives Ali Al-Taher hill, according to our reporter.

Israeli occupation forces also carried out demolitions in Zawtar Al-Sharqiya and Hadatha, erected an earthen berm near Zawtar Al-Gharbiya, and conducted heavy machine-gun fire toward homes in Byout Al-Seyyad, Hadatha, Al-Mansouri, and the outskirts of Shebaa.

On the ground, Israeli vehicles and a Merkava tank moved into Hadatha and Haris, shelling areas and sparking fires, while another force advanced toward Doubieh Castle. Two tanks accompanied by infantry moved toward the Al-Shamis neighborhood in Kfarshouba, while Israeli vehicles reached the vicinity of the Lebanese Army barracks in Birkat Al-Naqqar.
