Israeli enemy went ahead with its attacks on southern Lebanon on Tuesday, targeting paramedics and firefighters who were responding to emergency calls in the Nabatieh district.
Al-Manar correspondent reported that an Israeli drone struck a car in the Universities Neighborhood in the vicinity of Nabatieh City.
Teams of Islamic Health Society and Al-Risala Islamic Association rushed to the scene of the attack, with Al-Risala paramedics being subjected to another while evacuating a casualty attack by an Israeli drone, while they were transporting a wounded person, resulting in damage to the ambulance, according to our reporter.
No injuries were reported by the attack on Al-Risala paramedics. However Lebanese Health Ministry announced that two people were injured in the drone strike on the car in Universities Neighborhood.
Meanwhile, a Lebanese Civil Defense firefighter team was attacked by an Israeli drone as its members were battling a blaze caused by Israeli shelling to Dabshe area, near Ali Al-Taher Heights in Nabatieh district. No injuries were reported in the attack.
Paramedics and firefighters have been repeatedly targeted by the Israeli enemy in 2024 and 2026 Israeli assaults on Lebanon, with international organizations, including Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), condemning the attacks and urging protection of health workers.
Meanwhile on Tuesday, Israeli artillery continued shelling of Ali Al-Taher Heights and Dabshe, as well as Wadi Al-Hjeir, according to Al-Manar reporter.
The outskirts of Zawtar al-Sharqiya also came under Israeli artillery fire, accompanied by machine-gun fire, our correspondent added.
Later on Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces conducted a demolition operation in the coastal southern town of Majdal Zoun.
Israeli occupation forces have maintained a pattern of artillery fire, drone strikes, ground incursions, demolitions, and other attacks in southern areas on daily basis.
