The enemy unleashed a sweeping wave of airstrikes, artillery bombardments, and large-scale ground demolitions across southern Lebanon early Wednesday, pounding multiple towns and strategic hilltops while a drone strike claimed a civilian life near Nabatieh, according to Lebanese state media.
The National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli warplanes bombed the outskirts of Wadi al-Hujair before dawn, while separate raids targeted the towns of Qantara and Hadatha. Simultaneously, heavy artillery shelling struck the Ali al-Taher area, with additional strikes hitting the eastern outskirts of Zawtar, Masha’ al-Mansouri, Kafr Tibnit, the area between Zibqin and Yater, and the stretch between Sarbin and Rishaf through Tuesday.

In a strike late Tuesday afternoon, an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle on the Doha-Kfar Rman road near Nabatieh’s university neighborhood. The NNA confirmed that the citizen, Ali Sabah from Nabatieh, succumbed to his wounds at the “Popular Rescue” Hospital and was declared a martyr as a result of the enemy’s unmanned raid.
On the ground, Israeli engineering units backed by heavy machinery bulldozed lands, residential structures, and roadways in the town of Rab Thaleen. Homes were set ablaze in Khiam and Hadada, while entire residential blocks and infrastructure were systematically blown up in Zawtar al-Sharqiya, Majdal Zoun, Qantara, Bani Hayyan, and Hadada. Concurrently, heavy machine-gun fire swept across the outskirts of Zawtar al-Sharqiya, Hadada, Sarbin, Aita al-Jabal, and Beit Yahoun.
In addition to the conventional shelling, small surveillance drones dropped sonic bombs over the outskirts of Kfar and Rashaf, causing deafening explosions, while another unmanned aerial vehicle released explosives over the Beit Yahoun area and Aita al-Jabal.
