Israeli Enemy Steps up Attacks, Demolitions in Southern Lebanon

Israeli occupation forces stepped up attacks in southern Lebanon, with Al-Manar correspondents reporting strikes and demolitions in several towns and villages overnight Thursday into Friday.

Most prominent attacks took place in the town of Al-Mansouri and the area surrounding it, in Tyre district.

Al-Manar correspondent reported two demolitions operations in the town’s outskirts during the night and after dawn on Friday.

The occupation army carried out multiple air strikes in Al-Mansouri, with light attack drones dropping explosives on the town including a one on a house, according to our reporter.

The nearby town of Zibqine was targeted by Israeli artillery fire, Al-Manar correspondent reported.

In Ali Al-Taher in Nabatieh district, Israeli occupation forces repeatedly shelled the area, with flare bombs were fired there, according to our correspondent.

In nearby Zawtar Al-Sharqiya, Al-Manar correspondent spotted Israeli vehciles moving in the occupied town.

Another demolition operation was carried out by Israeli occupation forces in the border town of Markaba, in Marjeyoun district.

Elsewhere in Hadatha, Israeli artillery shelled the town in Bint Jbeil district, accompanied by machine-gun fire as Israeli forces conducted a sweeping operation.
