Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said neighboring countries have sent Tehran messages seeking new regional security arrangements and expanded economic cooperation, arguing that US policies have undermined the security of its own allies.

“We’ve received numerous messages from neighboring countries about shaping new security arrangements and economic cooperation in the region,” Ghalibaf said in a post on X.

He accused the United States of putting “the security of every single one of its allies at such risk” through “bullying and pure disregard for their interests for the sake of Israel,” leaving them briefly fearing for their “entire existence.”

Ghalibaf said the region’s security should instead be built on an independent, locally driven framework.

“A homegrown, independent order is what will actually deliver peace and security,” he said.
