Araghchi Holds Talks with Egypt, Pakistan on Regional Security

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held separate telephone conversations with his Egyptian counterpart and Pakistan’s Army Chief for talks on the latest regional developments and diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions in West Asia.

In a phone call on Saturday, Araqchi and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty exchanged views on the latest developments in the region, particularly the situation in the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea.

The two senior diplomats also discussed ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and preventing further escalation in the region.

In another phone call, Araghchi and Pakistan’s Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir discussed the latest regional developments and ways to strengthen peace, stability and security in West Asia.

The calls came amid continued diplomatic efforts by regional countries to contain tensions and promote peace and stability in West Asia.
