The UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkiye and Egypt have denounced plans by Israeli occupation to forcibly displace millions of people from the Gaza Strip.
In a joint statement, the countries’ foreign ministers expressed their “unequivocal rejection and condemnation of any attempts or plans aimed at displacing the Palestinian people” and emphasized that such a move would violate international law.
They also warn against the grave consequences of turning calls for forced displacement into declared policy or concrete measures aimed at uprooting Palestinians from their land.

“Such actions constitute a direct challenge to international efforts aimed at achieving peace, foremost among them President Donald Trump’s Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict, including its unequivocal rejection of forced displacement, and gravely risk undermining prospects for stability in the region.”
The Ministers stressed that the Gaza Strip “is an integral part of the Occupied Palestinian Territory, and underscore the imperative of preserving the unity of the Palestinian territory in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.”
The countries called on the international community to “firmly confront any attempts to impose a new demographic or geographic reality in the occupied Palestinian territory.”

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir on Thursday revealed an Israeli plan for the removal of 2.3 million Palestinians from Gaza within seven years.
His office seeks to establish a dedicated ministry to carry out the forced displacement, as well as secure agreements with countries to take in ethnically cleansed people from Gaza.
The announcement came shortly after Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said forcibly depopulating Gaza was the “only solution”.
