Israeli Chief of Staff Meets with Arab Military Commanders in Germany to Discuss War with Iran and Escalation in Yemen

Barak Ravid, political analyst for Channel 12 and Axios, reported that the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Occupation Army, Eyal Zamir, met last week in Germany with military leaders from several Arab nations to discuss the war with Iran and escalation with the Houthis, according to two senior Israeli officials.

According to Ravid, the meeting was held behind closed doors and organized by the commander of the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), Admiral Brad Cooper. None of the participating countries officially announced the meeting.

The report indicated that alongside Admiral Cooper and Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, the chiefs of staff of the militaries of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and Egypt participated in the meeting.

Axios added that while similar meetings have taken place in the past, this meeting is the first of its kind since the United States and Israel entered into the war on Iran.
