Russian defense-industry workers continuously supply units of the Russian Armed Forces participating in the special military operation with the weapons they need most, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
The president emphasized that the Russian defense industry’s export order book is growing, meaning that Russia “confidently holds a position among the leaders of the global arms market.”

Today’s global challenges require the military-industrial complex to continually advance: “It’s crucial that we keep all the positive trends in the defense industry going, ensure its sustainable operation, create new technological groundwork, and strengthen Russia’s technological and industrial sovereignty.”
Russia produces unique weapons that are rightly considered “among the most reliable and effective not only in our country, but also in the world”: “Russia confidently holds a position among the leaders of the global arms market.”
Expanding production
Russian defense enterprises have “significantly increased production volumes” since the start of the special military operation.
Defense-industry workers continuously supply troops participating in the special military operation with “the military products they need most, which help our servicemen effectively accomplish their combat missions.”
Russia’s defense industry meets the military and equipment needs of both the armed forces and all security agencies: “The defense industry supplies weapons and equipment not only to the front. The armed forces and all security agencies have all their needs fully met.”
Rising arms supplies
“Supplies of radar stations have increased nearly fivefold, while armored weapons supplies have increased 2.5-fold.”
Russia has increased the production and supply of weapons and ammunition, including precision-guided missiles and shells, by more than 22 times since the start of the special military operation.
Russia has increased drone production several times over, with production rising by dozens of times in some UAV categories.
“The export order book is also growing. It has now exceeded $70 billion.”
