The Israeli media indicated that, on the night of September 4, a D9 bulldozer entered an area containing a large field of Improvised Explosive Devices [IEDs] and severed the detonation wires, thereby preventing a catastrophe.

“Yesterday evening, the forces returned to the area, and another engineering vehicle drove over an Improvised Explosive Device [IED]. Four tanks that were called in were unable to reach the area due to technical malfunctions, so the forces withdrew. The air force attacked several targets in response.”
