Israeli occupation forces detained more than 100 Palestinians in Qalqilya and Azzun on Thursday as raids and military operations continued across the occupied West Bank.
Reports from the occupied West Bank said more than 100 young Palestinians were detained in the two areas amid a widespread campaign of raids targeting Palestinian homes and communities.
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, citing local sources, more than 30 occupation soldiers accompanied by 15 military vehicles entered Azzun through its northern main entrance.
The forces raided several homes in the Al-Sharqi neighborhood, al-Mansour neighborhood, Khallet al-Darbe, Al-Maqbara neighborhood, al-Shamiya neighborhood, Khallet al-Tina, and al-Ghanawi neighborhood.
The raids formed part of a wider military operation across the occupied West Bank, with occupation forces conducting detentions, searches, and field interrogations in several Palestinian communities.
Qalqilya Under Siege as Raids Continue
In Qalqilya, occupation forces have continued their incursion into the city since Wednesday evening.
Around midnight, military reinforcements were deployed across several areas and neighborhoods, including Nazzal, Kafr Saba, Wadi Street, and al-Tabbal neighborhood, which has remained under siege since Wednesday evening.
Occupation forces had entered Qalqilya through its southern entrance and deployed along Wadi Street near al-Tabbal neighborhood. They raided a commercial shop and agricultural land while detaining and interrogating several young Palestinians in the field.
The forces also imposed a military cordon around the area and fired sound grenades, tear gas, and live ammunition, injuring several Palestinians, including a 14-year-old boy.
Raids and Demolitions Spread Across the Occupied West Bank
Elsewhere, occupation forces detained a Palestinian young man after a special unit infiltrated al-Matar Street near Qalandiya refugee camp, north of Occupied Al-Quds.
Occupation forces also raided Beit Imrin and surrounded the home of detainee Dawas Hassoun before detonating it, causing material damage to the building and neighboring properties.
In Tammun, southeast of Tubas, several military patrols entered the town early Thursday, while infantry forces deployed across several neighborhoods and began raiding Palestinian homes.
The operations come amid continuing military incursions throughout the occupied West Bank, with Palestinian communities facing detentions, home raids, property destruction, and restrictions.
Settler Attacks Target Palestinian Property and Farmland
Meanwhile, Israeli settlers burned two vehicles and spray-painted hostile slogans during an attack on Attara village, north of Ramallah, in the early hours of Thursday.
Earlier, occupation forces uprooted hundreds of olive trees in Deir Nizam village, north of Ramallah.
The attacks come amid a continued escalation in settler violence targeting Palestinians, their property, sources of livelihood, and essential infrastructure, including agricultural facilities and water networks.
The repeated attacks have placed additional pressure on Palestinian communities, particularly those in rural and pastoral areas, where land and agricultural resources remain central to daily life.
