The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc held its regular meeting attended by all its members and issued the a statement that underlines the Lebanese authority’s attempts to hide behind the ongoing Israeli aggression as a reason for its failure.
What follows is the full text of the statement:
Life aches with longing and nostalgia, and grief does not subside at the sweet memory and remembrance of the founding trustees. The universe shines with the fragrance of the sacrifices made by the greatest martyred leaders and the noblest masters of giving and loyalty—the pioneers of jihad and resistance who provided the nation and its people with a reservoir of resolve, charting for them a path of steadfastness, resilience, liberation, and victory generation after generation.
The second anniversary arrives marking the martyrdom of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, his Hashemite companion, Secretary-General Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, and a blessed group of leader martyrs. Just a few days prior lies the anniversary of the pager crime that targeted thousands of fighters and civilians—men, women, and children—in their workplaces and homes. This underscores the deep-rooted choice of resistance among the people and their adherence to its path in confronting the occupier and defending the nation against aggression, no matter the sacrifices, pressures, and threats. It demonstrates their right and role in defending the country’s freedom, dignity, sovereignty, and independence against an occupier backed by American arrogance, enabling society to stand firm and reject surrender, especially after all other options have failed dismally to avert danger, liberate land, remove aggression, or deter an occupier.
On this occasion, the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc renews its pledge to the hero martyrs—leaders and fighters—to the wounded, the brave prisoners, and their honorable families. It extends its support to the leadership of the Islamic Resistance and Hezbollah, headed by Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem (may God protect him), confirming that it will remain loyal to this great legacy of pure souls and sacred blood, staying true to their path until all noble goals for which our martyrs sacrificed themselves are achieved.
The Bloc discussed several parliamentary affairs and local/regional issues, concluding with the following positions:
First: The Bloc paused at last week’s parliamentary session discussing the government, recording a series of ministerial failures to provide satisfactory answers regarding major public concerns. Chief among these are the issue of depositors’ funds, the clear failure in power supply, rising prices alongside high living costs, and the lack of serious government solutions for vital sectors such as telecommunications and transport. Furthermore, the government remained absent regarding fundamental political concerns, specifically failing to confront ongoing Israeli attacks—either by refraining from issuing orders to the army to defend the nation or by neglecting to direct Lebanese diplomacy through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to raise these issues before international bodies like the UN and the Security Council.
Second: The Bloc noted the authority’s attempts to hide behind the ongoing Zionist aggression as a reason for its failures and stumbling performance, deliberately omitting any direct mention of the Israeli enemy by name. It attempted to attach blame and cover up its stance and performance failures by pointing to the legitimate defense carried out by the Resistance to raise its voice, protect the homeland, and condemn the silence accompanying the aggression. This ignores that the Resistance fully committed to a ceasefire for fifteen months, while the enemy expanded its criminal aggression—killing, destroying, bulldozing, and blowing up homes, neighborhoods, institutions, and hospitals throughout this period—during which the government took no action while steering the country’s affairs.
Third: The Bloc emphasizes its full condemnation of the ongoing Zionist attacks against the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as well as Zionist settler attacks against Al-Aqsa Mosque. It condemns international complicity and Arab silence regarding these events, renewing its confidence in the noble Palestinian people, their resistance factions, and their sacrifices. It views this as a true example of resistance, struggle, and patience leading toward promised victory and liberation, God willing.
Fourth: The Bloc salutes the steadfastness of the dear Iranian people in the face of escalating American aggression and Western blockade. It views their unity around their brave leadership as an exemplary model of confronting tyranny worldwide. The Bloc expresses absolute confidence in the leadership, presidency, government, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), army, and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, viewing its steadfast stances rooted in faith as the true guarantee for victory over enemies in the region and the world.
