The Zionist army renewed on Friday its attacks in southern Lebanon, violating the ceasefire by executing a number of airstrikes and artillery shelling.
Warplanes have been hovering in the airspace of the South since morning, and the enemy carried out airstrikes and artillery bombardment on the outskirts of Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Zawtar al-Sharqiyya, Wadi al-Hujair, and Bani Hayyan.
Al-Manar’s correspondent reported hostile artillery shelling targeting the outskirts of Kfar Chouba, Zibqine, and Wadi al-Salouqi since morning, along with machine-gun sweeping operations conducted by the enemy toward Wadi Zibqine and Al-Mansouri.
The correspondent also reported fires in Kfar Tebnit resulting from the burning of homes and artillery shelling.
At 10:00 AM, a patrol belonging to the Israeli enemy forces penetrated into the Sdana area on the outskirts of the town of Kfar Chouba. The patrol surrounded a farm belonging to the Ghazi Nabaa family, inside which a number of shepherds were present. Concurrently, members of the patrol opened fire around the farm, while several artillery shells were recorded falling in the vicinity of the area.
In the afternoon, Zionist artillery shelling was recorded on the outskirts of the town of Al-Qusayr, along with demolition operations in Deir Siriane. Enemy aircraft also targeted the outskirts of Maifadoun and Zawtar al-Gharbiyyeh.
