Yemeni Source Categorically Denies Saudi Claims of Targeting Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah

Yemeni Armed Forces

Sabaa news agency quoted a Yemeni source as saying: “The lie as well as gross fabrication propagated by the Saudi regime—alleging that Yemenis targeted a power station in Medina—is completely baseless.”

This new fabrication is an attempt to mask the failure of its previous lie regarding the targeting of Mecca, as well as its failure to impose its tutelage upon the Yemeni people, the source added.

“The Yemeni Armed Forces will not remain silent in the face of this fabrication and reserve the right to respond to these baseless accusations.”

Meanwhile, Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced via Telegram, “Over the past 24 hours, Saudi warplanes launched 47 airstrikes and missile attacks targeting civilian infrastructure—including telecommunications networks and schools—in the governorates of Taiz, Saada, and Al-Jawf. These operations involved F-15 and Typhoon aircraft taking off from the Khamis Mushait and Taif airbases, alongside missile strikes launched from Jizan.
This brings the total number of Saudi-led aggression strikes—comprising both airstrikes and missile attacks—to 1,256 since the escalation began.”
