Scouts Gather to Mark Second Anniversary of Sayyed Nasrallah, Safieddine’s Martyrdom

Participants attend the largest scouting gathering marking the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Safieddine and Sayyed Nasrallah in Beirut’s southern suburbs (Oct 4, 2026).

The largest scouting gathering was held to mark the second anniversary of the Supreme martyr of the nation, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, and his successor martyr, Hashem Safieddine, Master of the Martyrs of the Nation, bringing together a large crowd under the banner of Imam Al-Mahdi in the Ashura courtyard in Beirut’s southern suburbs (Dahiyeh).

The gathering was marked by a massive and solemn turnout, led by Sheikh Ali Daamoush, head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council.

The event carried countless messages, introducing younger generations to the path of the resistance fighters and martyrs and to the legacy of Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, the “Master of the Martyrs of the Resistance,” as well as all the martyred leaders, may God grant them mercy.

The Imam al-Mahdi Scouts represent the highest educational model, guiding boys and girls, young men and young women, toward faith and righteousness, as well as values, justice, and happiness in this life and the hereafter.

The gathering featured deeply symbolic scouting performances and disciplined movements reflecting a loyalty befitting the occasion. The faces of the participants alternated between concentration and contemplation, recalling those who came before them and drawing from their example a sense of steadfastness.

“This scouting gathering is a renewal of our pledge, loyalty, devotion, and steadfastness to the path of the two great martyred Sayyeds,” one participant said.

“But this gathering, with this large number of children who came early, under the sun, carrying banners and messages and chanting slogans, has come to say that this community still carries Sayyed’s cause,” the participant added.

The gathering began and ended with a declaration of allegiance to Imam Al-Mahdi, with participants invoking him and concluding with the chant “Salam Ya Mahdi” from the Mahdist gathering.
