On the third anniversary of “Al-Aqsa Flood,” Palestinian resistance factions say the operation reshaped the conflict and underscored the need for national unity.
Palestinian resistance factions have affirmed that “October 7th exposed major failures in the Zionist security, intelligence, and military systems,” marking the third anniversary of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation.
In a statement commemorating the anniversary, the factions noted that “the past three years have proven that force and technological superiority alone do not decide conflicts.”
They emphasized that safeguarding the national cause requires ending the internal rift and reorganizing the Palestinian house through a comprehensive national dialogue—one grounded in partnership, respect for the diversity of components, and the preservation of the role of all forces and factions.
On this anniversary, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) affirmed that October 7th represented “a historic, honorable milestone in the ongoing struggle and the hallmark of a towering national epic,” stressing that resistance is a “legitimate right until the occupation is defeated and the land and holy sites are liberated.”
Hamas added that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” was “a natural response to—and the culmination of—bitter suffering” imposed by the occupation through decades of aggression, blockade, killing, and the stripping away of rights.
