Sayyed Al-Houthi: Operation Al-Aqsa Flood Is the Greatest Epic in the Struggle of the Palestinian People

Leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin Al-Houthi, stated that Operation Al-Aqsa Flood is the largest jihadi operation by the Palestinian people since the occupation, emphasizing that it was successful and shook the Israeli enemy entity in an unprecedented manner.

In a speech today on the third anniversary of Al-Aqsa Flood, Sayyed Al-Houthi said: “We must pause at the outcomes of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood to evaluate the reality of the nation and to remind those around us of the major responsibility toward the Palestinian cause and the position on the Israeli enemy.” He explained that assessing the operation reveals it to be the greatest epic in the struggle of the Palestinian people. He stressed that the US, the UK, and Western countries moved to save the Israeli enemy after Al-Aqsa Flood, as the deep impact of the operation drove the West to take action due to the turmoil that hit the enemy.

He noted that the operation provided an opportunity and opened a horizon for our nation on the ground, showing that the Palestinian people have the merit to carry out their Islamic and humanitarian duty. It was a chance for the nation to step up and support the Palestinian people out of humanitarian and moral obligations and for the nation’s national security considerations. He added that the nation should have taken the initiative to provide all forms of support to the Palestinian people, but instead, it was the West and Zionist tools that immediately moved with full commitment to support the occupying enemy.

He pointed out that the United States reached a level of full partnership in supporting the Israeli enemy, providing major coverage, opening all its regional warehouses, and delivering full support. He emphasized that the US and the West were in a state of full mobilization, immediately offering all types of support to the enemy while working to contain the internal shock it suffered.

Sayyed Al-Houthi affirmed that no one stood alongside the Palestinian people except the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, the Islamic Republic, the Iraqi factions, and the Yemeni support front, whereas betrayal prevailed across the broader nation, along with complicity from some. Support remained limited to the axis of jihad and resistance. He noted that Muslims—and Arabs in particular—missed a real opportunity to support the Palestinian people, as Operation Al-Aqsa Flood represented a major shift for the entire nation in its conflict with the enemy.

He praised the Palestinian people and their mujahideen factions for standing in a unified position, demonstrating immense steadfastness and endurance. He noted that the enemy faced the Palestinian people with genocide using the deadliest weapons, dropping them on residential neighborhoods, targeting all aspects of life in the Gaza Strip, cutting off water access, destroying entire neighborhoods with American bombs, and targeting children and women in vast numbers using everything from snipers to heavy bombs.

He also emphasized that the starvation war waged by the Israeli enemy against the residents of the Gaza Strip was a shameful mark for the world, especially for Muslims, as the enemy denied milk to nursing infants and committed the most hideous crimes alongside the US. He noted that some of these crimes were broadcast live, with the enemy openly displaying its aggressiveness and insistence on committing atrocities that shocked the world with their brutality.

Sayyed Al-Houthi stated that some non-Islamic countries raised their voices against Zionist criminality while Arab and Islamic voices were absent. He considered the enemy’s crimes to represent a complete collapse and exposure of all Zionist slogans regarding human rights, noting that the killing of children and raiding of hospitals in military operations exposed the enemy even before the International Criminal Court.

He added that the United States recently criminalized any activity supporting or showing solidarity with the Palestinian people against the Israeli enemy. He stressed that the full exposure of the Western system is very important for many elites and youth to form a realistic view of the West after it provided the enemy with all means to carry out genocide.

Touching upon the Arab and Islamic reality, Sayyid Al-Houthi explained that Al-Aqsa Flood caused a major realignment in accordance with divine laws, because the Palestinian cause and the holy sites are integral to the responsibilities of the Islamic nation. He noted that taking a stand on such a clear and firm issue served as an important benchmark. In this alignment, certain regimes that pretended to represent the top religious authority of the nation—specifically the Saudi regime—showed their true nature.

He stated that the British established the Saudi regime and assigned it a bad role in the nation based on deception to serve enemies, calling on the nation to examine the Saudi role regarding the Palestinian cause. He asserted that anyone who looks into it will find it to be nothing but a stab in the back of the nation, and that formal, superficial positions by the Saudi regime offer no real benefit to the Palestinian people.
