In a statement, the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc indicated that “the Zionist enemy, backed by the United States, continues its described crimes in Lebanon and Palestine, killing civilians, destroying, and bulldozing infrastructure and human life. Meanwhile, the anniversary of October 7th arrives to reaffirm once again the deep-rooted resolve of resistance among the Palestinian people, their constant readiness to make sacrifices, and their ability to surprise the brutal occupying enemy with new forms of confrontation that reveal the vulnerability of its temporary entity’s security, while clearly demonstrating the strong determination of resistance fighters deep inside occupied Palestine and their growing readiness to thwart the enemy’s settlement plans toward escalation to end the occupation.”
On another note, “the United States of America continues its military mobilization against the Islamic Republic of Iran and escalates its threats to annihilate an entire country and civilization. Meanwhile, Iran—leadership and people—moves forward in strengthening its capabilities and unifying its ranks, demonstrating extraordinary steadfastness and resilience in the face of Trump’s arrogance, tyranny, and siege.”
Following its meeting, the bloc expressed “its pride in its resisting people, who have proven the authenticity of their belonging and stances through their presence and heavy attendance to commemorate the supreme martyr, Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and his trusted companion, Secretary-General Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, whether in Nabi Chit—the town of the Master of Resistance Martyrs, Secretary-General Sayyed Abbas al-Musawi—or in Beirut, or in Deir Qanoun al-Nahr. The bloc specifically thanks the families of the martyrs, the wounded, and the prisoners, as well as the wounded themselves, especially those injured in the pager massacre.” It also warmly praised “the large scout gathering organized by the Imam al-Mahdi Scouts in Beirut to celebrate the occasion as well.”
The bloc emphasized “the necessity for the authority to carry out its basic duties toward the people, reduce its folklore shows and provocative statements, and initiate concrete practical steps to alleviate the impact of the occupation’s aggression on them in every possible way. The bloc affirms that Hezbollah’s position will remain firm in supporting its people and extending a helping hand to them, as it continues to exert maximum effort to that end, nearing the implementation of a new step to pay shelter aid to our displaced and evicted people.”
The bloc expressed its deep concern over “the deteriorating living and social conditions for the vast majority of Lebanese due to rampant corruption, exorbitant prices, insane price hikes, and the near-total blackout of electricity supply, imposing huge burdens on citizens.” The bloc calls on “the authority, government, and institutions to take decisive action and adopt serious decisions and measures to combat forms of corruption and tax evasion, and boost state revenues, allowing for the provision of a package of aid, relief, and tax reductions that help ease the severity of the crisis on them, especially low-income earners.”
The bloc condemned “the ongoing escalation of Israeli aggression against our Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank through bombing, assassination, and destruction in Gaza, and preventing the people of the West Bank from harvesting their olive crops, in addition to giving settlers free rein to expel some Palestinians from their homes and expand settlements in their towns.” The bloc called on “the international community, global rights organizations, human rights organizations, and Arab governments to take immediate action to criminalize the aggression and take all measures and exercise all pressure to stop it.”
The bloc extended congratulations and blessings to “the steadfast and heroic Iraqi people, their active forces, their courageous Popular Mobilization Forces, and their wise religious authority on the departure of American occupation forces from their land.” The bloc expressed “pride in the immense sacrifices of the Iraqi people and the dear martyrs who offered their lives for the freedom, sovereignty, honor, and dignity of Iraq’s people.”
The bloc denounced “the continuation of the siege and the renewed war imposed by Saudi Arabia on Yemen and its people, particularly in Sanaa, Saada, and many other cities and urban centers.” To spare blood and preserve lives, it calls for “an immediate end to this war and the lifting of the unjust siege on Yemen and its people through a return to serious, responsible dialogue that leads to a resolution of the crisis and cuts off the path for the nation’s enemies who incite the war that exhausts everyone.”
