Spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yahya Saree said, via Telegram, “By the grace of God, His assistance, and His support, our armed forces were able—for the second time in hours—to confront and repel the reinforcements belonging to the Saudi enemy that attempted to advance from the direction of Lahej toward Bab al-Mandab, failing to make any progress, by God’s grace. They were targeted with a large number of ballistic missiles, artillery support, and heavy weapons, resulting in the destruction of more than 22 armored vehicles and the death and injury of dozens, including several commanders.”
General Saree added, “More than 30 ambulances arrived in Aden transporting the dead and wounded from the Saudi enemy’s reinforcements.”
General Saree had earlier posted, “Humanitarian flights to and from Riyadh Airport will be permitted for all flights holding a permit issued by the Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center in the capital, Sanaa.”
