The Yemeni news agency “Saba” reported that Saudi Arabia targeted several areas in Saada Governorate with missiles.

A local source told the agency that the missile strikes hit various locations in the districts of Kitaf, Al-Buqa, Sahar, and Al-Salem.

In a related development, the Saba news agency reported that three civilians were wounded in six airstrikes launched by Saudi aircraft on the Abs district of Hajjah Governorate, in northwestern Yemen.

The agency also noted that Saudi aircraft targeted a Yemen Oil Company facility in the Bajil district of Al-Hudaydah Governorate, located on the Red Sea coast.

For weeks, Saudi Arabia has been conducting airstrikes on Sana’a and its surrounding areas, coinciding with fierce battles across various parts of Yemen. A new escalation has been observed since Sunday, following the announcement by Saudi-backed forces of the launch of a counter-offensive against Sana’a’s forces to retake areas recently captured by the latter.

As the Saudi aggression against Yemen continues, Yemeni armed forces are retaliating by targeting vital facilities within Saudi territory and Saudi military concentrations on Yemeni soil.
