Israeli occupation forces abducted a young man during an incursion into a village in southern Syria’s Quneitra province on Monday, according to Syria Al-Ikhbaria TV.
The official broadcaster said Israeli troops entered the village of Bariqa and detained the man, without providing details about his identity or where he was taken.
The incident came amid several Israeli military incursions into southern Syria the same day.
In the western Damascus countryside, Israeli forces blew up an abandoned military barracks near the town of Beit Jinn, the channel reported.
A separate Israeli force comprising six military vehicles entered an area south of Al-Rafid in Quneitra province.

Israeli troops also entered the Wadi Al-Raqqad area in Daraa province early Monday, opened fire toward agricultural land and withdrew, according to the broadcaster.
The latest incursions came days after the UN Human Rights Office reported around 280 incidents involving armed Israeli incursions into Syria in September, the highest monthly figure recorded this year.
The UN office said Friday that at least 49 Syrians remain in Israeli custody.
UN Calls on ‘Israel’ to Abide by 1974 Disengagement Agreement
Meanwhile on Monday, the UN called on ‘Israel’ to cease violations of the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement and fully respect Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“I reiterate the Secretary-General’s call for an end of the violations of the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement and full respect for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Deputy Special Envoy for Syria Claudio Cordone told the UN Security Council.
Cordone reported that Israeli military operations in southern Syria continue on a daily basis, detailing extensive construction work, checkpoints, searches and detentions alongside the fatal shooting of a civilian near an Israeli military position on Oct. 5.

He added that 49 people reportedly remain in Israeli custody while noting a separate incident on Sept. 23 when 14 members of an Israeli occupier group crossed the ceasefire line into Syria before Israeli forces returned them.
Since the fall of Bashar Al-Assad’s regime in December 2024, Israeli occupation forces have stepped up incursions and attacks, including raids, searches, arrests and the establishment of military checkpoints.
‘Israel’ has occupied most of the Syrian Golan Heights since 1967. Following the fall of Al-Assad’s regime, the Israeli occupation declared the 1974 disengagement agreement void and seized the demilitarized buffer zone and other positions, including the Syrian side of Mount Hermon (Jabal Al-Sheikh).
