Five Palestinians, including a woman, were martyred and several others wounded in Israeli bombardment targeting areas of Gaza City, as occupation forces continued to violate the ceasefire agreement through artillery shelling, gunfire, and the demolition of buildings, alongside an expansion of what is known as the “yellow line.”
Two Palestinians were martyred and others wounded when a vehicle was targeted in the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. According to palestinian report, Basil Nabil Qashta and Ahmed Raja Al-Shaer were killed in the strike.
Additionally, Mohammed Fawzi Al-Jamla succumbed to wounds he sustained several days earlier during an Israeli bombardment that targeted the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
A Palestinian woman, Reem Awad, was martyred and several other citizens injured in the early hours of Wednesday after occupation aircraft targeted an apartment near the Abu Talal intersection in the Rimal neighborhood, west of the city.
Field sources reported that Israeli helicopters struck an apartment in the Al-Abbas area, west of Gaza City—opposite the “Nesto” supermarket—sparking a fire at the scene. Civil defense crews brought the blaze under control, while ambulances arrived at the site and recovered the body of the victim.
In Gaza City, Israeli tanks opened heavy fire east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, accompanied by artillery shelling in the same area. The gunfire extended to the Al-Sidra, Al-Sahaba, Al-Daraj, Al-Nafaq, and Jaffa areas in the eastern part of the city.
Additionally, quadcopter drones unleashed heavy fire in the vicinity of Al-Shawa Square, east of the city, targeting the movements of civilians. These drones were also observed operating over the Al-Rimal and Al-Jundi areas, as well as the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood and the Asqoula area, where they fired toward civilian homes.
Gunfire from drones was also reported in Jabalia al-Balad, along Al-Nafaq Street, and around the Sheikh Radwan pond in the northern part of the city; shots even reached “First Street” in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. Meanwhile, military vehicles continued to open fire east of the city and in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, with intermittent gunfire also reported from a military crane east of Gaza.
In a related development, Israeli occupation military vehicles rigged with explosives advanced toward the vicinity of the Al-Sanafor junction, east of Gaza City. Shortly thereafter, a massive explosion caused by a demolition operation carried out by the occupation forces rocked the city.
In the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, Israeli tanks were seen maneuvering along Al-Sikka Street, accompanied by intense gunfire and the expansion of what is referred to as the “yellow line” toward the area. Artillery shelling in the eastern part of the city persisted until the morning hours.
Artillery Shelling in the Central and Southern Gaza Strip
In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli occupation military vehicles opened heavy fire northeast of the Al-Bureij refugee camp, coinciding with artillery shelling that targeted the area east of the Tamraz station. Areas north of the camp witnessed the movement of military vehicles and gunfire, followed by the vehicles shifting eastward before withdrawing toward the “Yellow Line.”
