Israeli Occupation Wraps up Hebron Operation, Plows ahead with West Bank Raids

The Israeli occupation military on Friday forged ahead with raids in several areas across the West Bank, a day after it wrapped up a four-day operation in the southern West Bank city of Hebron (Al-Khalil).

The occupation army said 14 Palestinians were detained during the operation which started on Monday and focused on Jabal Jawhar in Hebron.

“In all, 350 buildings were scanned, 14 Palestinians suspected of terror activities were detained, and eight firearms were seized,” the occupation military announced, referring to alleged resistance activities.

Meanwhile, Palestinian media reported that Israeli occupation forces detained four Palestinian citizens during dawn raids on Friday in the towns of Talfit and Beita, south of Nablus.

Israeli occupation forces also stormed Nablus city from multiple directions, raiding homes in the Askar Al-Qadeem refugee camp, the Old City, and surrounding areas. They searched the properties, vandalized their contents, and forcibly removed the doors of several commercial shops inside the Old City, according to WAFA news agency.

Elsewhere in Bethlehem, the occupation forces detained six Palestinians from various areas across the southern West Bank governorate.

The raids were carried out in Dheisheh refugee camp and the town of Al-Khader, according to WAFA.

Earlier on Thursday, the occupation forces detained former prisoner Saja Daraghmeh from her house in Tayasir town of Tubas, in the northeast of the West Bank.
