Talks between Ukraine and Russia, mediated by the United States, resumed Saturday in Abu Dhabi, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters.
According to the source, this round follows up on trilateral discussions that began in the UAE on Friday, aimed at exploring ways to end the nearly four-year-long war.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that senior representatives from the Ukrainian armed forces and military intelligence would take part in the talks.
On Friday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reiterated Moscow’s “well-known” position demanding the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from all of Donbas, without elaborating on the details of the talks.
