House Speaker Nabih Berri’s press office issued a statement which categorically denied the report posted by Al-Akhbar newspaper on Saturday, January 24.
“What was reported in Al-Akhbar newspaper regarding an alleged proposal by Speaker Nabih Berri concerning the negotiations is mere fabrication, misinformation, and lies. Al-Akhbar is accustomed to such reports.”
