Member of Loyalty to Resistance Parliamentary Bloc, MP Hasan Fadlallah, stated: “It seems some competent state authorities have neither read nor heard the voices of those violating the constitution, the national pact, and coexistence and inciting sedition by encouraging the Israeli enemy to kill and displace a segment of the population from their homeland, insulting their religious authorities, holy sites, and beliefs, attacking the dignity of their national leaders, and spreading hate speech against an entire community.
MP Fadlallah emphasized that the silence of those authorities constitutes encouragement for the perpetrators of these violations against the nation and its people, and represents a clear dereliction of their constitutional and legal duties.
He added that these instigators believe that the excessive rationality of a people under attack and preoccupied with healing their wounds allows them to persist in their practices, “or perhaps they are betting on the leadership of this nation being more concerned for the country and its civil peace than an authority that has become a symbol of division among the Lebanese”.
MP Fadlallah concluded by asking: When will the officials wake up and perform their national duty to protect the country and its people?
