Yemeni Forces Strike Saudi Coalition Targets in Aden, Lahj, Riyadh, and Oil Pipeline in Escalating “Blockade-for-Blockade” Campaign

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced Monday a series of specialized military operations targeting Saudi-led coalition troop concentrations and weapons depots in the occupied governorates of Aden and Lahj, alongside strategic strikes deep inside Saudi territory, including Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport and crude oil pumping stations along the East-West pipeline.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, stated that the two operations struck strategic sites one in the Salah al-Din area of Aden Governorate and the other in the al-Waht area of Lahj Governorate using a number of ballistic missiles.

He confirmed that the missiles struck their targets with high precision, resulting in dozens of casualties—killed and wounded—among Saudi-led coalition forces, in addition to the complete destruction and incineration of several military vehicles and weapons depots.

The spokesperson noted that the weapons depots and military concentrations targeted in Aden and Lahj were under the direct supervision of a Saudi officer identified as Badr al-Harbi.

Separately, the Armed Forces successfully downed a Saudi “Wing Loong II” armed reconnaissance drone while it was conducting hostile operations over Taiz Governorate, using an appropriate weapon.

The Yemeni Armed Forces also announced the execution of successful, strategic military operations targeting deep within Saudi territory “in response to the crimes and ongoing aggression against the Yemeni people, as part of a ‘blockade-for-blockade’ equation.”

Brigadier General Saree confirmed that the missile forces targeted King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with a ballistic missile, noting that the missile struck its target with high precision. The armed forces also carried out a targeted operation against crude oil pumping stations of the East-West pipeline, using a number of drones and achieving precise, direct hits.
