    Two Martyrs as New Israeli Aggression Targets South Lebanon, Bekaa Valley

      Israeli attacks on areas in southern Lebanon continue, in a clear and repeated violation of the ceasefire agreement, and in the absence of any serious official action to put an end to these violations.

      Al-Manar’s correspondent reported Sunday evening that enemy warplanes launched 14 airstrikes with heavy missiles during three rounds of fighting. Ten of these strikes targeted the heights of Midoun and Jabbour, two targeted Wadi Barghaz, and two targeted the area known as “Kassarat al-Aroush” between the heights of Rihan and Louaizeh.

      According to our correspondent, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike targeting the area between the towns of Khirbet Selm and Kfardounine.

      The Public Health Emergency Operations Center reported that an Israeli strike targeting the area between Khirbet Selm and Kafardounin resulted in the killing of one civilian and the wounding of five others, while a separate Israeli strike on Dardghaya in the Tyre district claimed the life of another civilian

      Meanwhile, our correspondent reported that a newly established position inside Lebanese territory in Wadi Hounin fired bursts of machine gun fire towards the outskirts of the towns of Houla and Markaba, in a new escalation on the ground, adding to the series of ongoing Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty.

      Al-Manar’s correspondent also noted that an enemy Israeli aircraft was found downed in the town of Kfarkela.

      In the Bekaa Valley, Israeli aircraft carried out several raids on Al-Shaara.

      Al-Manar’s correspondent also reported that the area surrounding an ambulance belonging to the Islamic Message Association was targeted by machine gun fire from the Misgav Am settlement while it was towing a disabled vehicle belonging to a citizen on the Adissa-Kfarkela road. No injuries were reported.

      In another development on the ground, and for the second time since the establishment of the new Lebanese Army observation post in Khallat al-Mahafir, south of the town of Adaysseh, an enemy Merkava tank crossed the border wall gate in the settlement of Misgav Am and positioned itself opposite the Lebanese Army post, in clear violation of the Blue Line and relevant international resolutions.
