The Zionist enemy continued on Sunday its violations and attacks on South Lebanon. In this regard, Al-Manar correspondent indicated that an Israeli drone targeted a car in Jowayya town, leaving one martyr.
A Lebanese citizen was injured after an Israeli drone targeted a car in the outskirts of Safad Al-Batikh town, and another martyr was reported.
An Israeli enemy drone targeted a motorcycle in Yater town, South Lebanon, and left one injury,e5d5e according to Al-Manar reporter.
Al-Manar’s correspondent reported that an Israeli glider targeted two excavators with three bombs in the Al-Wastani neighborhood of the town of Shebaa.
The Israeli enemy also fired two mortar shells at the outskirts of the two border towns of Aitaroun and Blida, South Lebanon.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army issued a statement which read, “On 13/12/2025, within the framework of coordination between the military institution, the Supervisory Committee for the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement (Mechanism), and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), the Army conducted a thorough inspection of a building in the town of Yanouh, with the consent of its owner. It was confirmed that no weapons or ammunition were present inside the building.”
“After the Army departed the site, and in the context of ongoing “Israeli” aggressions, a threat was received to strike the same house. An Army patrol immediately arrived and re-inspected the building, once again finding no weapons or ammunition. The patrol remained deployed in the vicinity of the house to prevent it from being targeted.”
“The Army Command highly values the trust of the residents in the military institution, their support for it, and their cooperation during the performance of its national duty. It also expresses its deep gratitude to the Supervisory Committee for the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement, which carried out the necessary communications in coordination with the Army Command and played a fundamental role in halting the execution of the threat.”
“The Command salutes the tremendous efforts and sacrifices made by the servicemen in confronting exceptionally difficult and sensitive circumstances, in order to safeguard their people and defend them. This led to the cancellation of the threat at the present time, while Army personnel remain deployed around the house as of this moment.”
“This incident proves more than ever that the only way to preserve stability is through unifying efforts and comprehensive national solidarity with the Army, and adherence to Resolution 1701 and the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement, in coordination with the (Mechanism) and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon – UNIFIL, during a difficult phase that requires the highest levels of awareness and responsibility.”
In the same context, the Bastra Farm in the outskirts of Kfarshouba was subjected to machine gun fire from the enemy position in Ramtha Hill.
Al-Manar’s correspondent also reported that an enemy artillery shell landed on the Shanouh farm in the outskirts of Halta in the Arqoub region, coinciding with Zionist artillery shelling targeting the town’s surroundings, in yet another violation of Lebanese sovereignty.
