Israeli occupation forces launched a major assault across the Gaza Strip on Thursday, shattering the ceasefire with heavy gunfire, artillery shelling, and demolitions.
Sources reported that the occupation army demolished residential buildings in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, accompanied by heavy gunfire from occupation military vehicles in the northern part of the city.
Israeli helicopters also opened fire with machine guns towards the northern areas of Rafah, while artillery shelling of the area continued.

In the southern Gaza Strip, the eastern areas of Khan Younis were subjected to heavy and sustained fire from Israeli tanks stationed there.

In the central Gaza Strip, occupation helicopters fired directly at the eastern part of the Bureij refugee camp, while an Apache helicopter fired heavily towards the eastern outskirts of Gaza City, as part of a series of ongoing attacks on the city.
The Israeli occupation army continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, which has been in effect since October of last year.
