Israeli Enemy Proceeds Attacks, Campaign of Destruction in South Lebanon

Destruction in Rub Al-Thalathin after Israeli occupation forces infiltrated into the border town and blew up two houses (February 1, 2026).

The Israeli enemy is waging a campaign of killing and destruction in south Lebanon, deliberately breaching the 2024 ceasefire.

An israeli drone struck a vehicle in a town near Nabatieh on Sunday. Earlier on the day, occupation forces carried out an incursion into border town, and blew up houses there, a day after a citizen was targeted and martyred by a hostile drone.

Al-Manar correspondent in south Lebanon reported an Israeli drone strike on the southern town of Dweir in Nabatieh district.

The Lebanese Health Ministry said teh strike killed a citizen and injured 3 others, includinga 9-year child.

Local media identified the martyr as Ali Dawoud Omeiss from the neighboring town of Abba.

Israeli drones staged four raids, targeting bulldozers which working to remove rubble and debris from the scene of a previous strike on the southern town of Qannarit, our correspondent in south Lebanon reported.

At dawn on Sunday, Israeli occupation forces infiltrated into the Lebanese territory and blew up two houses in the border village of Rub Al-Thalathin, our correspondent reported.

The demolition led to significant damage, with a number of nearby houses being also affected, including houses in the neighboring village of Markaba, according to our reporter.

Rub Al-Thaalathin witnessed a deadly attack earlier on Saturday, where a Lebanese citizen was martyred after being targeted by an Israeli drone while being on a roof of one of the town’s homes, Al-Manar correspondent reported.

Local media identified the martyr as Ahmad Hasan Fakih, a maintenance worker repairing a satellite dish in the village.

Elsewhere, an Israeli drone fired two missiles, targeting electricity line between the towns of Maaroub and Barish in Tyre district. The missiles exploded in the air, causing damage to two cars, according to our reporter.
