Israeli occupation forces are escalating their attacks in the West Bank on a daily basis. Palestinian cities and villages are witnessing frequent incursions, widespread arrests, house raids, and the bulldozing of Palestinian property.
These attacks are part of an ongoing policy to intensify military control over Palestinian land and impose severe restrictions on Palestinian movement.
This morning, Monday, Israeli occupation forces bulldozed a street in Jenin, according to local sources. The sources explained that a military bulldozer entered Haifa Street in the western part of the city, with a large number of occupation forces stationed there during the morning movement of employees and schoolchildren.
In a related incident, forces stormed the town of Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, raiding and searching a number of homes. They also stormed the towns of Zababdeh and Kafr, south of the city, but no arrests were reported.
In Hebron Governorate, occupation forces demolished the home of the martyr Mahmoud Yousef Abed (23 years old) in the town of Halhul, north of the city, at dawn today. Local sources confirmed that a large force, reinforced with vehicles, trucks, and equipment and accompanied by an explosives engineering unit, stormed the town. They concentrated in the Al-Kamb area, where they detonated the martyr’s apartment after firing stun grenades and forcing residents to leave, preventing them from approaching.
It is worth noting that Mahmoud Yousef Abed was killed along with Malik Ibrahim Salem (23 years old) from the town of Beita, northwest of Nablus, by Israeli occupation forces in the Gush Etzion settlement bloc, north of Hebron, on July 10th of last year.
In Ramallah, Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Qibya, northwest of the city, at dawn today. Their military vehicles patrolled the village streets, but no raids or arrests were reported.
The occupation forces also arrested two Palestinians from the Hebron governorate: Abdul Hadi Kamel Al-Ja’bari from Hebron city and Abdul Rahim Muhammad Sawaifa from the town of Idhna, west of Hebron. Their homes were searched and ransacked, and they were severely beaten. Forces erected military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron and its surrounding towns, villages, and refugee camps, closing several main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
In Tulkarm, Israeli occupation forces arrested three Palestinians from the towns of Qaffin and Baqa al-Sharqiya: Ibrahim Sabah (45 years old) and his son Ma’moun from Qaffin, and Mahdi Shadi Daher (19 years old) from Baqa al-Sharqiya, after raiding and searching their homes.
Occupation Forces also arrested two young men in Tubas: Youssef Faiq Sawafteh and Raja Suleiman Sawafteh, after raiding their homes. They deployed throughout several neighborhoods in the city and raided numerous houses.
In the village of Falamya, east of Qalqilya, Israeli forces arrested three young men: Muhannad Mahmoud Abu Daher, Wael Abdel Karim Abu Daher, and Mu’ath Basem, after storming and searching their homes and ransacking the contents.
Israeli occupation forces closed the Atara military checkpoint north of Ramallah, disrupting Palestinian movement. These forces routinely close checkpoints, particularly in the early morning hours.
Statistics from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission indicate that the number of military checkpoints and gates in the Palestinian territories has reached 916, with 243 of these erected after October 7, 2023.
In Nablus, Israeli occupation forces seized a vehicle in the village of Zeita Jamma’in, southwest of the city, at dawn today. They also raided several villages, including Jamma’in to the south, Jurish, Sebastia, Qusra, Beit Furik, Madama, and Naqura, searching homes and damaging their contents. No arrests were reported.
Occupation Forces also set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Jurish, southeast of Nablus, inspecting Palestinian vehicles and IDs.
